How was the process?
First, we developed a logistics route, divided the entire process into separate stages, and performed them in this order:
– Ground transportation to our warehouse in America. Since the reapers were located in different places, the first thing we did was to transport each of them to our warehouse in Illinois, which specializes in handling agricultural machinery and loading it into containers.
– Loading into the container. Usually, reapers are transported in a container during sea freight. It was the same this time. So after the reapers were delivered to our warehouse, we loaded them into a container.
– Customs clearance in the United States. To carry out an export shipment from America, we have drawn up all the necessary documents.
– Ground delivery to the railway ramp. After loading the container, it was delivered to the nearest railroad ramp for further transportation to the port.
– Transportation by rail to the port of departure. In this route, the most optimal way of transportation to the port of departure was by rail. So we transported the container to the American port by rail.
– Sea freight to Germany. At the port of departure, we loaded the container onto the ship and, thanks to direct contracts with shipping lines, shipped the container to Germany at the best rate, taking into account the route and delivery time.
– Intra-port forwarding. After the container arrived in Germany, we performed in-port handling in the port of Bremerhaven.
– Registration of the T1 certificate. For further transportation to Ukraine through the customs territory of the EU countries by land, a T1 certificate was issued.
– Ground delivery to the recipient’s door in the Kyiv region. At the final stage, the reapers were transported by trawl from the port of Bremerhaven to the recipient’s door in the Kyiv region of Ukraine.
The transit time from the warehouse in America to the recipient’s door was 35 days.
Flexible terms of cooperation
Our company offers flexible transportation options. If the customer prefers, they can deliver the reapers to one of our three warehouses in the Americas, where we will load them into a container. We can also deliver an empty container to the shipper for loading on their premises or meet them in Europe for sea transportation if the customer chooses to organize this stage independently.
Adapting to the current situation at the borders
Logistics is not only about transporting goods, but also about being able to adapt to changes, providing reliable and efficient routes for customers. Our company is ready for challenges, regardless of current conditions, to ensure the best possible results in the transportation of your cargo.
Given the strikes in EU countries, including Poland, Slovakia and others, we are taking steps to optimize our routes by sending containers to the ports of Reni, Ukraine, or Constantia, Romania.
We constantly monitor the situation along all transportation routes and respond immediately to any changes. We do our best to deliver your cargo as quickly as possible.
We invite you to cooperate in the transportation of oversized cargo from America!
