How was the process?
Our client purchased this combine in Canada and entrusted us with its transportation to Ukraine, read more about the service here. We considered several transportation routes, but the most profitable and fastest, as always, was the route through American ports.
So the first task was to hire a trawl in Canada or the United States that is properly certified for cargo transportation under customs control and transit. This is an additional difficulty, but we always overcome this obstacle with ease. Also on this page, find out why you should entrust customs clearance to us.
Since the combine was not running and could not drive itself on board the ship, it was impossible to use the RoRo service for sea transportation. Therefore, we transported the combine by trawl from Canada to our warehouse in America, where it was loaded into a Flat Rack container for delivery to the port of Klaipeda, Lithuania.
Upon arrival in Klaipeda, we unloaded the combine from the container and sent it to our warehouse. This allowed us to significantly save our client’s money on the costs associated with storing the combine in the port. Why? Read on our website or call us to find out more.
Then, in cooperation with our regular partner, Dedushka LLC, the combine was delivered directly to the customer’s door in the Dnipropetrovs’k region. The total transit time for this project was 38 days from port to port.
The case of the Lexion 470 combine harvester transportation is an example of our gradual approach to complex logistics tasks. We are proud to be able to help our customers solve the most difficult problems and ensure the smooth delivery of agricultural machinery from America and Canada. Our team is always ready for new challenges, regardless of the distance or complexity of the task.
